Local Philanthropy
Our association supports the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation with financial gifts to help fund scholarships, confidential aid, education and training, and support of our museum.
We also participate each year in the Rose McGill holiday sharing program where we sponsor a Kappa alum who may need a little extra help making her holidays brighter.
Kappa Kappa Gamma is embarking on a new philanthropic purpose to support mental health and well-being.
We want to unite our members and our communities in raising awareness and reducing the stigma of mental health and well-being through education, fundraising, and service.
We hosted our first annual Songwriter's Night in the fall of 2021 as a fundraiser for the CMA Mental Health Fund and have chosen to support National Alliance on Mental Illness ( NAMI) as our national partner. In 2022, we volunteered at a benefit concert event for NAMI Davidson County and in 2022 and 2023 we were a supporting sponsor for their NAMIWalks event as well as volunteered on the 5K race course and raised money.
